What happens to hosting and SSL after the first year?

The site stays online. You don’t buy a new SSL certificate each year. Hosting and the padlock (HTTPS) stay in place — the certificate renews in the background. There is no extra hosting or SSL fee after year one on the package.

The only yearly cost is the web address, if we registered a new .co.za for you. Year one is included. After that the renewal is about R105 a year, depending on the name. We’ll remind you before it’s due.

If you already had your own address, you keep paying whoever you bought it from. Hooking the site to it is included.

If the domain is not renewed, the address stops working even though the site is still hosted.
